Hello Crafty Friends!

So much has happened since I last wrote. We are now moved to BC and “sort of” settled, I am not sure how boxes of my work product keep popping out from hiding but they do. We are working with much less space than in Edmonton but we’re making it work. I am back working full time designing, kitting and getting ready for the holiday season, it has been so nice to get back into my normal routine. It became much easier to do that when Anna went back to school. She has started grade 7, the first few days at her new school were hard, really hard, but everyday it gets better and I am so grateful.

The biggest change for me has been my work and shifting all my kits to my online shop. They are no longer available through Treasured Memories but Chantel and I are still working together creating amazing designs with her company- Simply Stated Design.

I gave the shop a little makeover to make it more bright & cheerful but the best part- I have multiple kits now available. It has been so exciting getting stuff into the shop and having such a wonderful response from my customers. I am beyond grateful.

I have so many ideas and projects in the works. I’d love to start a kit club of some sort & create a private group for my kits where I will teach it as a class, either live or recorded. Trying to sort out all my thoughts has become a full time job. Right now in the shop, I have card kits and a folio kit. I am working on 3 more card kits & a Christmas album but I hope to have all sorts of projects available to purchase as kits.

Work has kept me from missing “back home” too much because it allows me to stay connected to my people. It doesn’t feel like I moved provinces when I am working and I’m grateful for that. I have lots planned and I am excited to be here on a consistent basis. I’d love for you to pop over to Nadine Karen Design and check out the shop.
