Carnival Card Collections

Gnome for Christmas Card Collection

These adorable cards were one of my classes for the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival that took place last weekend here in Edmonton. (The venue & event took part in the restrictions exemption program which allowed the Carnival to take place.)

These cards were created using the Gnome for the Holidays collection from Photo Play. Gnomes are adorable but dress them up in Christmas outfits and you have the cutest embellishments around! They are definitely my favorite element on these cards.

Product used: Photo Play pattern paper & stickers, Scalloped Stitched Nesting Dies in Rectangle & Circle from Tutti Designs, Poinsettia embossing folder from Tim Holtz/Sizzix, ribbon, vellum & cardstock.

Lumberjack Christmas Card Collection

These cards were my second class from the weekend, I love the red, black, white color combo for the holidays. These cards were created using A Lumberjack Christmas from Echo Park. The lumberjack Santa & the type pattern reindeer are my favorite elements on these cards.

I took the ornament stickers, punched a small hole, threaded embroidery floss through and “hung” them from the top of the card. You will also find all kinds of layering on my work and these cards are no exception. I was tucking, popping & layering all the things on these cards.

Product Used: Pattern paper & stickers from Echo Park, small black bag from Michaels, black tags from Michaels & Dollar Tree, vellum, snowflake embossing folder from Echo Park, Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangle Dies from Tutti Designs, ribbon, embroidery floss, reinforcements & cardstock.

Thanks for being here & Happy Creating!
