I designed these 7 cards for Treasured Memories using the Blossom collection from Graphic 45. The floral patterns and colors are fabulous, I love how rich the colors are.

I find that people are either in a love or a hate relationship with fussy cutting but I love it. You can get so many fabulous elements by pulling them out of a paper and turning them into something else. Something to add embellishment & dimension. I used various papers and fussy cut all the flowers I’ve used here. The butterflies were all hand punched and the die cuts, circles and rectangles were hand rolled using dies from Tutti Designs.

I get asked about printing on vellum all the time, it’s the most often way I give out sentiments in my kits. I use my inkjet printer and as long as the vellum has no sheen the ink will dry and not smudge. I do find that you have to leave the printing sit for a minute or two before you use them but after that you should be good to go. It allows you to use any sentiment, phrase, font or type size in a word document and then print it, it’s so versatile.
These cards were my collection for March and are available as a take home kit here, but the kits do go fast- I’m beyond grateful for everyone’s support. I’ve started working on my April collection using Ancestry from Simple Stories, I’ll share them here when available.
Thanks for popping in,
