I have been working like Santa’s little elf… and it’s only September 8th! I usually only do one card collection in August as the product starts arriving in store but this year I’ve already finished & sold out of 3! I feel so grateful! I always worry about starting Christmas cards so early but this year has been different. I think people are looking for things that make them happy and don’t require adjustments for Covid, creating makes people happy, beautiful paper makes people happy (I know it can’t just be me).

These cards were created using the Rosy Cosy Christmas collection from P13 Paper Products. You can find these products here at Treasured Memories. These papers are gorgeous! The colors and patterns, especially the florals are just perfect.

A big factor for me when designing a collection of cards & a question I always ask is, “Is there a sheet (or more) that can be cut apart for embellishing?” P13 is one of those companies that never disappoints, they have the best sheets for this. In fact they have one for every collection that is made specifically for cutting apart, it’s a dream! Having papers to cut apart brings the overall cost down, a package of die cuts can cost up to and over $10 but a sheet of paper usually tops out at $2.50 and that’s the high end. It does mean you have to fussy cut like a boss but it’s worth it in the end. 😉
Do you have a favorite product to create with? Does Christmas product hitting the shelves make you cringe or does your heart flutter like mine? Leave me note, I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for popping by,
♥ Nadine

This paper is beautiful and made gorgeous cards (mine are yet to be brought to life). I make far more Christmas cards than the people I have to send one to but the papers, the embellishments that’s come out this time of year make my heart skip a little more. Thanks Nadine for all your work.

I LOVE those watery red flowers! I don’t buy any scrapbooking stuff anymore, but I still love to look at it!

You are da Christmas Elf working like you ate too many chocolates! My gosh you are a machine and these are gorgeous. I should get excited about Christmas, it would be better to get a head start but I have too many pretty summer collections that aren’t used yet. Gahhhh! it’s all too pretty. xK
