Mother’s Day Class for Kids

I taught a Kid’s Mother’s Day class this past weekend and had a full house. There were 15 mini albums to make & then fill with pictures and this group of kids did so amazing. I am always amazed at how easy going & creative a groups of kids are compared to teaching a group of adults. PicMonkey Collage

Each child left with a card and a completed mini book that was full of photos of their mom and families. I then wrapped each gift so that come Mother’s Day all these kids have to do is hand it over and watch their Momma’s hearts fill with gratitude. It was a treat to witness in person each child writing all sorts of  wonderful things about their Moms. “I love you because you make me macaroni.” “I love you because you make me laugh.” “It makes me happy when you hold my hand.”

Each child had stories to share with me and I could tell with each story just how much they loved their Mom’s. I left that class with a full heart.

Anna is always so excited to come to my kid’s classes and I am so grateful that I married a man that is happy to come help me, no questions asked. Cory was my assistant and he was amazing. I didn’t even sneak a peek at Anna’s work…. I am SO excited for Mother’s Day.

These kid’s classes are a ton of work for me but as I walk around in the hustle & bustle of their work I am reminded how much I love this and I forget how much work it took and start planning the next one.

  1. The kids all look like they are having fun, so hard at work. That is such a great photo of Anna and Cory. One to be scrapped for sure. Looks like a beautiful album. 🙂
